Dr. Rustgi received his B.A. from Yale University and his M.D. degree from Johns Hopkins University. He did his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in the Liver Diseases Section of the National Institutes of Health. Currently, Dr. Rustgi sis Medical Director, Liver Transplantation, and Clinical Professor of Medicine and Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Rustgi is Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology. He has published extensively, serves on numerous national committees and is very active in clinical research.
